Terri Foster has interdisciplinary experience in the community engagement and environmental sectors, stemming from positions as a Land Use/Environmental Planner, Biologist, environmental nonprofit Volunteer Coordinator, Analyst focused on community inclusion programs, and Contracts/Program Manager. She has worked for the County of San Diego for the last 17 years and has served as the staff lead for the County’s Resident Leadership Academy Program, as a Wellness Champion for the Employee Wellness committee, and as a member of the HHSA Sustainability Taskforce. She currently works as the Contracts and Grants Manager for the County’s Office of Sustainability and Environmental Justice.
Terri earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology from UCLA in 1995 and completed a Certificate in Climate Change and Health from the Yale School of Public Health in 2021. She is passionate about building more resilient and adaptive communities, with a focus on the public health impacts of climate change, climate adaptation, and disability community inclusion.
