Denise Villezcas serves as the Coordinator of Student Services for the San Ysidro School District, where she leads initiatives to promote student well-being and success. Originally from the Imperial Valley, Denise earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from San Diego State University (SDSU), a Master’s Degree in School Psychology from National University, and an Administrative Services Credential from SDSU. Her career spans diverse roles, including working at Kearny Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility, Residential Programs, and wraparound services, where she gained extensive experience supporting at-risk youth. As a school psychologist, Denise specialized in working with students with disabilities, delivering tailored interventions to address their academic, social, and emotional needs. Her comprehensive expertise and dedication to student development enable her to play a pivotal role in advancing the success and growth of students throughout the district.
