Ada Shido is an art advocate, artist, and Youth Commissioner for San Diego County's Arts and Culture Commission. She also serves as a coordinator at A Reason To Survive (ARTS) and the Youth Sector Lead for San Diego County in the California Jobs First initiative. With a background in psychology, Ada champions arts education programs that empower youth with socio-emotional skills to challenge and break cycles of oppression. Her goal is to further her education in order to create initiatives that prioritize youth voices in art administration, giving them real decision-making power over issues that impact their lives.
