Holly, a graduate of Northern Arizona University, has worked as a school counselor at both the Middle and High School levels. She had spent 4 years working as a Head Counselor in a neighboring community when the position for the Prevention and Diversion (P.A.D. ) program opened. Holly’s passion for students in crisis, especially those who are interacting with some form of substance abuse, made her a natural choice to run the EUHSD P.A.D. program. Through years of research, combined with her natural ability to connect and dive deep with students, Holly has become an expert in assessing student’s needs, both immediate and long-term. Students leave her program having identified causal factors for substance use. They are provided alternative coping and decision-making skills, and they are given support to develop critical relationships with school and district personnel. The P.A.D. program has made our students and our schools safer.

Holly loves the outdoors. She is married with two sons and enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. Her oldest son plays LaCross for Colorado State University, and her youngest, also a budding LaCross star keeps her schedule full outside of the school day.
