Nicole “Nikki” Kelsay, Child and Family Well-Being (CFWB) Program Manager, has 20 years of experience in child welfare services, from the Hotline to Adoptions, Polinsky Children’s Center to Resource Family Approval, and prevention policy. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Sociology from Rhodes College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2001 at Columbia University. Ms. Kelsay is a Program Manager for the Office of Child and Family Strengthening, leading the CFWB’s prevention efforts. She helps train social workers in Safety Organized Practice (SOP) and Family First Prevention Services (FFPS). Ms. Kelsay approaches her work with deep respect for the families and children served, reverence for the staff who commit to serving our community every day, and the humor needed to lighten heavy work.
