Thomas Tran is Director of Community & Local Government Engagement at Blue Shield Promise Health Plan. In that role, he oversees Blue Shield Promise’s strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including city and county governments, community-based organizations and trade associations in Los Angeles and San Diego counties. He is also responsible for the Blue Shield Promise and L.A. Care Community Resource Center Partnership, a $150M investment to build the largest network of jointly operated resource centers in California. Mr. Tran has nearly 20 years of experience in the Medi-Cal managed care industry, and he has lived experience as a Medi-Cal member.
