Nichole Wissman is an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of San Diego School of Business, where she teaches strategic management. Her research is driven by an interdisciplinary approach, exploring the intersection of climate change, organizations, and society. Nichole studies cross-sector climate adaptation processes, including the roles played by consultancies, integrating social equity considerations, and assessing climate risk. She is also the co-director and co-founder of the Environmental Integration Lab, which works to integrate sustainability across the campus, foster community connections, and provide interdisciplinary experiences for students. Beyond her academic commitments, Nichole consults on climate adaptation and implementation projects focusing on social equity. She has authored several publications on climate adaptation, hybrid organizations, and the circular economy.
