Mariah Williams, J.D. is a Fellow in San Diego County Child & Family Wellbeing where she develops constituent engagement strategies that elevate the true needs of families who seek to provide kinship care, in efforts to improve equitable outcomes for children and youth. She previously directed the Center for Health Policy at Meharry Medical College where she managed a training program for medical, dental, and graduate students, and taught at the nexus of health policy and the law. She holds a J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a BA from the University of Mississippi.
