Building a race equity culture requires intentional, courageous, and interdependent leadership that doesn’t rely on domination, extractive practices, or a scarcity mindset. How do we align our leadership practices with race equity values to reimagine and create institutions where all people thrive? Our presenters will share ProInspire’s Leadership Model for Race Equity Impact, which includes key building blocks for applying a race equity analysis to the leadership of self, people, organizations, and systems.
Learning Objective:
Participants will learn practical tools that support individuals and organizations with core commitments, corresponding practices, and reflection questions that can create and sustain racially equitable experiences and outcomes. They will learn that anyone can operate as a leader from any position within an organization, and leaders must prioritize the advancement of racial equity from self to systems, and the process for individuals to advance racial equity includes committing to actively learning and unlearning, taking intentional action, and building processes for accountability.
- Session participants will engage in ProInspire’s Leadership Model for Race Equity Impact, which supports individuals and organizations in identifying how their leadership practices can create and sustain race equity experiences and outcomes within the social sector. During this interactive session, participants will:
