The presentation will provide an overview of the impetus behind the transformation within the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency to develop a Child and Family Well-Being department. Participants will understand why the transformation is taking place, what it means for children, youth, families, and the community and how you can be part of this transformation. Topics will include shifting from mandated reporting to community supporting, San Diego’s Comprehensive Prevention Plan, and developing a Prevention Hub.
