Danielle Octon has been working with youth for almost 20 years focusing on their wellbeing, health equity, and the systems that support the whole child and whole community. Danielle graduated from University of San Diego with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Master of Public Health from National University specializing in program design & implementation. Danielle is a passionate advocate for youth with a trauma-informed lens & cultural humility approach. She currently serves as the District Wellness Center Coordinator at Canyon Hills High School in San Diego Unified School District. Danielle is an ally that strives to elevate student voice, self-agency, and safe inclusive environments for all students. Danielle is a San Diego native who enjoys her role as a new mom, Head Coach & Team Development Specialist for one San Diego’s top soccer organizations.
