Salvador Garcia, Youth Development Coordinator for the Student Safety and Student Attendance Unit at San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE). Friday Night Live is a statewide youth development program that engages youth as active leaders and resources in their schools and communities. Sal was a participant of the program in Middle School and has grown up in the program, providing youth leadership development support to youth in San Diego County since 2001 and is recognized throughout the state as a leader in this field. In addition, Sal’s professional experience and expertise includes trainings on bullying, cyberbullying, internet safety and internet basics. He holds a BA in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego.
