K. Don Cornwell is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dynasty Equity. He brings over two decades of investment banking and advisory experience, with deep expertise in media, entertainment, and sports transactions.

Prior to founding Dynasty Equity, Don was a Founding Partner at PJT Partners, a global advisory-focused investment bank, where he now serves on the Board of Directors. Before PJT, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group, with a particular focus on the sports and gaming sectors.

Don has advised on several of the most complex and high-profile sports transactions, including the recapitalization of OneTeam Partners, the sale of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, the sale of the Buffalo Bills, the sale of IMG to William Morris Endeavor, a recapitalization of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the formation of Major League Baseball Advanced Media. He has also served as a strategic advisor to both the National Football League and the National Basketball Association.

Earlier in his career, Don worked at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant and in corporate development at the National Football League.

He is actively engaged in the nonprofit sector, serving on the boards of the Harlem Children’s Zone, the East Harlem Tutorial Program, New York Cares, and the VFILES Foundation.

Don holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an AB in Government from Harvard College.
